You’ll get to enjoy some of the best tacos in town from award-winning chefs and taqueros, while also witnessing the filming of the PBS documentary, Taco Mafia. The documentary will showcase how this group of friends and culinary professionals have used their passion for tacos to help their community through hurricane relief efforts. Plus, a portion of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit the Relief Gang, a non-profit organization that provides disaster relief services. See the behind the scenes filming of the Taco Mafia documentary at J Bar M during our Taco Mafia Takeover event. Season 1 of the Taco Mafia docu-series will air on PBS later this year! The Taco Mafia is made up of collective of chefs, cooks, taqueros, and restaurant professionals making a difference through their love of cooking. Cumbia, Tejano and Latin variety Amado Garcia Band will perform 5pm-8pm.

24-hour marinade of beef, pork, bell peppers, and onions slowly cooked for 6 hours in a tractor plow disc and finished off in J Bar M’s Moberg smokers topped with onion, cilantro, pineapple, and served with a side of salsa & lime on 2 Nixtamal corn tortillas

1 Nixta Duck Carnitas Taco

Duck confit finished off in J Bar M’s Moberg smokers topped with salsa cruda, radish, shaved white onion and cilantro on a Nixtamal corn tortilla

1 Cuantos Campechano Taco

Suadero (brisket) and Longaniza (Mexican chorizo) mix smoked in J Bar M’s Moberg smokers topped with onion and cilantro on a Nixtamal corn tortilla
